This Is John at his first paying gig at a bar off the boardwalk in Long Branch. Second Photo is John Revisiting the Asbury Park Boardwalk about ten years after playing at the former Cafe e Dolce that is directly behind him.

John performed as John Anthony in late 1970's and early 80's as part of the duo
Anthony & Hays.

Tom Hays: Piano

They performed at Monmouth College,West Long Branch, NJ, Brookdale College,
Lincroft NJ. (Live performances on WBJB radio)

In the 1990's and the next century, John put back his last name and performed at
many coffeehouses and cafes as part of Blues Station and as a solo.
